The Blisstitute of Living Aloha’s internationally recognised Spiritual Hawaiian Lomilomi Massage Training is a life changing experience. People entering this temple of aloha for the first time will come away with an incredible new set of skills which can be used for friends and family, or to create the foundation for professional practice. In addition to this, the Hawaiian wisdom provides an entirely new lens through which to experience yourself and the world around you. For existing bodywork practitioners, this training in Spiritual Hawaiian Lomilomi Massage will add immeasurable dimensions to your work and revolutionise your practice.

There are many reasons our students return again and again to this 6 day foundational training. It is a beautiful opportunity to connect to yourself, to deepen in your practice, and to be with the growing community of Aloha Warriors.

The only pre-requisite for this course is to have received at least one authentic Lomilomi massage. You donʻt need any prior experience with giving massage, however, our training caters to people of all levels of experience.  The Blisstitute courses are an inclusive space for people of all genders, sexualities and cultures. We teach people how to massage all types of bodies, with awareness and respect.

During the course you will be immersed in the art of Lomilomi:

• 6 days of being fully held in a safe and supportive container with like-minded people

• Hawaiian wisdom & how this relates to bodywork

• Skills to give a full 90 min Lomilomi massage, as well as supporting your client pre and post massage

• How to hold space for people when trauma comes up

• Giving AND receiving Lomilomi

• Ha (breath work) for giving & receiving Lomilomi

• Pule (Hawaiian prayer) and its significance in Lomilomi

• Oli (Hawaiian chanting) and how this increases your mana (natural connection to source energy)

• Hawaiian perspectives on learning

• How to choose aloha in your life

• How to share this work in the world; including professional codes of conduct and promotion

Accreditation

This training is approved by IICT (International Institute of Complimentary Therapists).

Upon successful completion of this training, you will be awarded a certificate which allows you to offer paid sessions as a practising student.

Partial scholarship placements are available in each training/workshop for any Mob, and for anyone who identifies as gender diverse and/or trans and is also in financial need. Please contact us to discuss this if you would like to apply for one of these places.

Returning Students

Anyone who has completed a Spiritual Hawaiian Lomilomi Massage training with The Blisstitute of Living Aloha is welcome to return to do a full 6 day foundational training to deepen their knowledge and practice. 

A discount of 50% off the full fee is offered to returning students, and places are limited for each course.

We always want to ensure that this training is a pono (right) fit for you, and that you will be getting what you are looking for out of training in Spiritual Hawaiian Lomilomi Massage with The Blisstitute of Living Aloha. Please contact us via phone or email to express your interest in training with The Blisstitute, and clearly outline what draws you to learn Lomilomi with us at this time. If you are approved to attend the training, a $400 deposit will be required to secure your place. 

Our financial policy is that 50% of this deposit is non-refundable. The balance can be transferred to a future training, if you notify us of your need to change your training dates with at least 2 weeks notice.
